  1. Well... yes and no. I have noticed that you can use the Smart Deploy console to download the PPK, then browse to the library folder where it is downloaded, and the PPK is there. You can then use your older version of Smart Deploy. I was on the fence about 2.0 much like you are. I am currently learning the new environment and it's capabilities. So I plan on giving it a day in court.
  2. Doing exactly this via PXE in my environment and loving it. We set out to image on the fly in our environment. With folder redirect so our end users lose nothing. Now if they suffer a major issue, they can PXE boot and SmartDeplot takes over. We are set up to retain the PC name and activate windows after reimage. Once the user is logged in we push software and we are done. This product has been a game changer for our environment.
  3. Took me a while to get back to you. I ran the deployment wizard again and captured the answer file. Everything is working great. I took it a step further and created a post task after domain join to activate windows. Smart Deploy is awesome and thanks for your help!
  4. So I have this unattened answer file and yes I am coming to a hard stop. What I am trying to figure out here, is where and how to write the authentication so Smart Deploy can see my image file. Here are the first few lines and where I believe the issue lies. I need to authenticate via domain creds to get to the image file on my PXE server. Any help would be much appreciated. I am no coder at all....
