  1. About a week ago, the Enterprise console stopped displaying the contents of the SD folders, (Computer Management, Answer File Library, Reference Machine Library, etc.). The files exist in the SD folders if I browse through Windows Explorer. I have tried running a SD repair and I have uninstalled MS Sliverlight and reinstalled it, but no luck. I also noticed for several weeks prior to the contents no longer listing in the console, that the console would not save the login credentials and I would always have to enter them in anytime I opened the console. I am running Windows 10 Enterprise, Version 1607, Build 14393.1198. The Smart Deploy Enterprise version is 2.0.2050. Microsoft Silverlight version is 5.1.50906.0. Any ideas how to bring back the content listings? Do I need to uninstall and re-install SD? Thanks in advance for the assistance, Roger
  2. To be sure I understand the first option, for example, our Brazil office could install SmartDelpoy and unlock it with our license key. Brazil can then build and create image files, download package files, create bootable media, etc. specific to the Brazil office, and the licenses for the images they deploy in Brazil would be taken from the number we purchased under our license key. We could run the license report and see what has been deployed for the Brazil office, as well as well as, our main office in the US. Is that correct? If so, I am then assuming the computers that are seen under Computer Management would only show the computers deployed for that particular office's SmartDeploy installation and could not be seen by any office that is using our license key, thus Brazil would only see Brazil deployed computers and the US would only see US deployed computers in their respective SmartDeploy Computer Management views. Is that correct? Thanks again for the assistance, Roger
  3. We have a number of offices in Europe, South America, and Asia and having them pull the image file from our US office can be difficult. Is there a recommended method of imaging to remote offices? It seems a bit impractical to create a full imaging USB and sending it out to the remote offices each time we update the image, so can the image file be staged on a local share so they can deploy a workstation and pull the image file locally rather than across the world? Thanks in advance for the assistance, Roger
  4. I updated the laptop BIOS to the latest version A18. I tried running the Hynix SSD firmware utility from the link you provided and when I would run it, it did not recognize that any Hynix SSD drive was available, thus I could not run any firmware update. I went to the Dell support site for the specific E7240 I am working on and grabbed the latest Hynix firmware posted on their site and when I ran that utility, it saw the SK Hynix SH920 mSATA 256GB drive. I tried running the update, but it would fail. After some thought, we use a hard drive BIOS password on all our laptops, so I removed the BIOS set hard drive password and tried running the Hynix firmware utility again. This time I was able to run the firmware update and the SSD now has the firmware version 1010BL00 installed. Thinking that perhaps the BIOS hard drive password had been the issue all along, I had hopes that the next SD imaging process would work, alas it did not. Same issue occurs with either Windows 7 or the Windows 10 USB. Attached is the requested diskpart.scr txt file. Thanks, Roger E7240 SSD diskpart scr Error.txt
  5. I will install the Hynix SSD firmware and Dell BIOS updates and let you know what happens. Still being new to using Smart Deploy, I would have thought these things would come down as part of the Platform Pack for the laptop. Is there are reason that is not the case? Thanks, Roger
  6. I have encountered a problem when imaging from either a Windows 7 USB or Windows 10 USB in that when it starts to provision the disks (an SSD in this case), it will error out ("Failed to provision any disks. An exception has occurred.") and the physical disk size in the lower right hand corner will go from 238.5GB to 0. I do not have any problems provisioning disks using the same USB's for imaging on other Dells or Lenovos that we have in use. I have attached the deploy log to the post to assist in troubleshooting the issue. If you need any further information, please let me know. Thanks, Roger Dell Latitude E7240 deploy log.txt
