  1. Hi All, I am testing out SD, I am trying out some in house packages and some of the pre-made ones by SD, I tested with open office by SD it install and worked fine (Happy days) I made my own from software we have that does a silent install during the OS build process and it just sits there deploying. when i check the logs i get the following "The open operation did not complete within the allotted timeout of 00:00:00. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.,Open timed out after 00:00:00 while establishing a transport session to net.tcp://172.x.x.x:8733/Design_Time_Addresses/SmartDeploy.ClientServiceWCF/Message/. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout." I have retested with with SD 7-Zip and it too now just sits there with the same error msg. What am i missing ? Thanks.
  2. I've tried the .EXE and .MSI and can't get either to install - it doesn't even show up in the logs. So I'm not sure where I'm failing.
  3. Hello, Has anyone run into application packs taking a long time to deploy (The status just shows 'Application Deploying')? Last week I tested deployed Chrome and it seems to install fairly quickly. But now this week it's taking 10-15 minutes to deploy it...sometimes not at all. To my best recollection I haven't changed anything since then, and I made sure that the firewall isn't blocking it either. I have tried it via wifi as well as directly connect to an ethernet cable, but neither are changing the outcome. The status logs are empty as well, since nothing is happening. I appreciate any troubleshooting tips! Thanks, Dave L
  4. Trying to install the Zoom video conferencing client (see attached image) It tells me there is a deployment error but no real information. Any ideas where to start troubleshooting this? it's a simple .exe which I put in the app pack itself, no switches. It looks like the files get transferred, but it doesn't seem to know what to do with them. I've included the configuration screens as well.
