mrlaconic Posted July 7, 2012 Report Share Posted July 7, 2012 Hello, I am using smart deploy to capture my images only and I am uploading the completed .wim directly to wds. Since I have started using smart deploy my computers are no longer auto naming themselves. I am pre-staging the computers in ADUC and imputing the GUID for the machine. I also have an unattended answer file set with the image. This problem does no occur with an image that I built the traditional way. How can I reolve this? Erik Posted July 11, 2012 Report Share Posted July 11, 2012 Hello, When capturing an image with SmartDeploy Sysprep is not run as this is taken care of behind the scenes at deployment time. In order to use a WIM created with SmartDeploy you would need to Sysprep the virtual machine prior to shutdown and capture. Thanks, Erik Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
