cajuntank Posted April 14, 2013 Report Share Posted April 14, 2013 Ok, maybe I am missing this in the documentation that I have viewed, but is there a PXE environment that you can boot to from a machine you want to image. Just bought the software and still reading thru things, so sorry if this is plain and simple. I came from a Kace environment where all we had to do was boot to the NIC on a computer and this would take us to a screen where we could choose our image to deploy (No USB or CD/DVD needed). On this page is a guide for integrating SmartDeploy with Windows Deployment Services, which SmartDeploy uses for PXE boot. Hope that helps! Jason93 Posted April 16, 2013 Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 We just switched from Dell Kbox2000 to smartdeploy. One of the best decisions we have made for imaging software.
