Move hard drive

I have been tasked with moving a hard drive to a different computer because of data stored on this drive, and issues with the existing pc. Will this affect the present licensing count, I'm asking this question because it would be simpler to move this driver to the different pc same brand and model, than reimaging and moving all of this data.

This scenario isn't what SmartDeploy is designed to do unfortunately. If it's the exact same model/manufacturer it should work out if the drive is 100% good.. i.e. Take the physical drive out, move to the other machine, then deploy and utilize USMT functionality. It will take another license.
