Amanda
Most of our terminals in our business run on static IP and are required a static IP to work with another application. Is there a way to do remote deployment that holds the current IP to the new OS install when we run a deployment without having to make 800 different answer files with each and every static IP? Thank you.
SmartDeploySupport
Hi Amanda, Unfortunately, the only way to apply a static IP is one at a time. Since they are applied on a machine-specific basis, and remote deployments are (by definition) completely unattended, there's no other mechanism available to automate this process other than to use separate answer files.
